One of the oldest known Damask roses that re-bloom thru the season. There will be a new flush of bloom about every 6 weeks. Deadheading will encourage re-bloom. It is an historic rose, important because it dates back to the Romans possibly earlier. . Often seen in paintings or decorating old china. The bloom is wonderfully fragrant, double blooms of clear pink appear in a heavy flush in the spring. As the season progresses the repeat bloom will not be a significant as the spring flush. This is a significant rose in the history of rose culture.
